![]() Things that generate a certain emotion manifests when you are steadily vibrating at that emotion, good or bad. And understanding that your emotions indicate your degree of alignment with the things that you desire helps you to see that the seeming chaos or “luck” that you experience is not random. Anything that feels worse is moving down. Anything that feels better, like relief, is moving up. Without even looking at the scale, you can just feel whether you are moving up or moving down. You may inadvertently add errors or delete important parts of your document and have to rewrite it - things that are equivalent to you feeling more frustration. You may spill something on your computer. However, if you let that frustration take hold, either getting upset at your friend, or empathizing with your friend and you guys get into a full-blown complain-fest for many minutes, now even if you’re able to somehow get back to work, your frustration may manifest things not moving as smoothly as before. Or, if they are not that upset and can be influenced by you into a better mood, they may follow your lead and ask you what you’re working on and then promptly let you get back to work. They will probably go find someone else to complain to, because they’re not getting the satisfaction of somebody who will complain along with them. That’s why you feel the emotional off-ness.Īt the very first sign of that off-ness, before it can take you over, one way you can maintain your contented vibe is to reply to your friend that you’re doing very well and are happy in your work right now. Your vibrational frequency is not matching that of your Spirit’s. That’s a signal from your Spirit, your Inner Being or Source Energy, that the way you’re thinking about this subject that you’re focusing on is not what your Spirit is thinking about the same subject. Their complaint activates a feeling of frustration (10) in you, maybe it’s empathy for their troubles, or maybe you’re frustrated that this person is interrupting your work flow. Say, for example, you are working contentedly (7) on your thing, and you suddenly receive a text from someone complaining about something. You feel good! And that’s what it’s really all about, isn’t it?īy understanding the concept of the scale and being aware of your emotions, you can learn to navigate when information comes into your life, whether they are helpful in moving you in the direction that you want to go, or not. But most importantly, you’re happy and in love with life. Love, money, good health, fulfilling expressions of your talents and interests - all of that stuff is the vibrational equivalent of the higher emotions on the scale. In a very short time, you will be feeling mighty fine, and your energy will then be a match to all of the things that you’re asking for in life. You don’t have access to anything too far out of your range, so reach up a little bit until you are stable in that slightly higher emotion, and then reach for the next one, and the next one. So Abraham teaches that you can use the scale by identifying where you currently are, and actively improve the way you feel by reaching for the next emotion up the scale.
